Immer (Always)

‘Immer (Always)’

‘Our dead are never dead to us, until we have forgotten them’ ~ George Eliot

Inspired by my walks in cemeteries… I have painted a series of haunting pictures which communicate remembrance, love and sadness.

I love to capture antique stonework, crumbling marble, overgrowth and the melancholy feeling of history. It is important to respect our past and look back as well as forward.
